IGO is proud to present the digital twin project of the
Aveyron Department
an ambitious initiative carried out on behalf of Aveyron Innovation. The aim of this project is to create a high-precision 3D photomaillage on a departmental scale, based on aerial acquisition in compliance with PCRS (Plan de Corps de Rue Simplifié) standards.
Aveyron’s digital twin is the first building block of a connected, sustainable territory, more commonly known as an “intelligent territory”. This veritable “digital clone” of the département will be a dynamic digital model of the territory, at the service of public action. It will make it possible to model a wide range of scenarios, and will be an invaluable aid to regional planning and development.
Project objectives
Created in 2024, Aveyron Innovation is a departmental agency that promotes innovative projects to make Aveyron a connected and sustainable territory. Aveyron’s digital twin is the agency’s first flagship project, marking an important step in the department’s digital transformation and providing invaluable support for regional planning and development.
By analyzing data in real time, it also enables better anticipation and more efficient management of crisis situations, such as weather events, fires and floods.
